Excellent Product
“I bought 2 bags of this sand for my 20 gallon saltwater
tank. I rinsed each bag separately in a
5 gallon bucket and place it straight into the tank.
After filling the tank with water, the tank water
was murky for about a day or two, but after letting it
settle completely, I hooked up my filtration
system, powerhead, and protein skimmer, and the water
became clear within another day. The
sand is pretty fine, but it weighs down with water, so it
doesn’t really get blown around. The
appearance of it is amazing, and is definitely worth the
buy

“This
live sand is amazing! I have been keeping reef tanks for
several years now and still have
three. Typically, I would use dead sand and add bacteria,
however, this stuff comes with the
microorganisms your tank needs already in it. There is
till cycling period as is expected with any
salt-water tank, but the process is greatly sped up. It
creates a great buffer very quickly. I
would definitely suggest this to anyone setting up a nano
reef aquarium for that matter

“I
bought 2 bags for anew marine tank that I am setting up
and have had no problems with it.
There are a few black impurities in the bags of sand but
it is not very easy to see and have had
no problems with it getting sucked up into filters.”
