ProCalcium™ Sand is 100% CaCO3 (Calcium   Carbonate), which makes up over 4% of the earth's crust and is likely to be found in your reptiles natural habitat.
 

  
  ProCalcium™ Sand clings to the reptiles waste, deterring it from being scattered around the animal’s habitat and making it easy to scoop or remove.
 		  
  ProCalcium™ Sand is collected in its natural environment. No artificial additives.
 		  
  ProCalcium™ Sand is a positive, natural and beneficial addition to your reptiles existing food source; In fact, CaCO3 is often used in animal feed and will contribute to the calcium needs of the reptile.
 		  
  ProCalcium™ Sand significantly lowers the risk of impaction due to its fine-grade quality, making it highly digestive friendly.  
CaCO3, or Calcium Carbonate can be found all over the world in many forms. The premium form being aragonite. Reptile Sciences uses only premium aragonite in its formulations.
 
 

In their natural habitat, animals absorb Calcium Carbonate from water, in which it is often found in the dissolved form of Ca(HCO3)2, or Calcium Bicarbonate. The animals use the CaCO3 in the formation of their skeletons or shells.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Add to terrarium or environment at approximately 2-3 inches deep. Remove clumped waste material on a daily basis for optimum maintenance.

Replace sand every 4 to 6 months to prevent toxicity.
