How
do I clean my Nature’s Ocean® Natural Decorative Coral?
Answer:
To clean the Coral for your aquarium DO NOT use soap
or any toxic product that could kill your fish. All you
need is a very clean or new bucket preferably one only to
be used for the aquarium coral cleaning. Put a strainer
or sieve on top of bucket and then place your piece of
coral on the strainer and gently wash with water until
corals are completely clean. For tougher stains and/or
algae build up the coral decorations can be soaked in a 5%
bleach solution for 4- 6 hours and then thoroughly rinsed
and soaked in freshwater. The decorations must be rinsed
until the chlorine smell is removed and using an over the
counter dechlorinator at the same time will help remove
any residual bleach.

these are real pieces of coral they will raise the pH of your
